We are seeking an Engineering Student for our Toronto District to work from Sudbury, ON, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 month or 8 months starting January 2026.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings, work specific scope / trades, trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates, deficiency walks etc.
• Participating in project meetings
• Inputting / updating deficiency logs and issuing warranties
• Taking / coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawings
• Producing as-built drawings
• Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating and supervising sub-trade work
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings
• Setting-up / maintaining record keeping
• Layout site lines and grades using total station
• Creating manual schedules, updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software, maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedules
• Monitoring workforce productivity

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
