Job summary

A leading agricultural solutions provider in Saskatchewan is looking for an Engineer in Training for its Surface Maintenance Engineering department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating performance gaps and providing technical support to Project Engineers. A strong emphasis on safety and excellent communication skills is vital. Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience. This position reports to the Surface Maintenance Engineering department.

This position will be posted from January 29, 2026 - February 2, 2026.

What You'll Do:
  • Investigate, evaluate and develop solutions to meet long term plant strategies and performance gaps.
  • Apply knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Liaison between operations, maintenance, technical groups and outside contractors.
  • Review drawings and/or drafting for Mechanical changes.
  • Provide technical support to Project Engineers executing capital and non-routine projects.
