Overview

Peterborough Limited are recruiting a permanent, Energy Co-ordinator to work part time (16 hours per week), based in Peterborough.

Up to £25,500 a year (Pro-rata)

16 Hours per Week. Tuesday to Friday 10.00am until 2.00pm

Location : Nursery Lane, Peterborough

What does the role involve?
  • Support the asset management contractor and maintenance contractors ensuring a good working relationship exists between Housing Authority Partners and the company.
  • Responsible for the coordination of assets, projects and services delivery within the energy management team remit, ensuring optimum service is provided.
  • To actively manage the Company’s utilities, including but not limited to billing, usage tracking and usage reduction initiatives
  • To act as a point of contact for Solar PV asset management for the Company, and point of contact for the Customer Queries.
  • To handle customer queries and complaints relating to energy management and solar services
  • To act as a key part of the Business Management Team.
  • Ensure that reactive and proactive maintenance is undertaken in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring the portfolio meets its commitments.
  • Ensure high quality, effective service to homeowners, tenants, businesses and Housing Association on whose building’s assets are placed and act as stakeholders in our contract.
  • Ensure suppliers, contractors and asset management stakeholders work safely and effectively.
  • To act as the escalation point for all Energy management related complaints from individuals, companies and government bodies.
  • Any other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?

  • Experience and a proven track record of delivering to targets in the renewable energy’s sector (D)
  • Technical knowledge relating to the installation and operation of Commercial and Domestic solar PV systems (D)
  • Experience of working to high health and safety standards and protocols, and the preparation and evaluation of risk assessments and method statements (D)
  • Experience of co-ordinating complex relationships with Clients, industry professionals and suppliers to achieve results (E)
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills (E)
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation (E)
  • Ability to manage, prioritise and plan own workload (E)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (E)
Requirements
  • One of the following areas of qualification (or equivalent) (D)
  • 1. EAL Level 3 or equivalent
  • 2. Fully conversant / compliant with NICEIC standards 18th Edition
  • Knowledge and experience of PV systems (D)
  • Knowledge and experience of energy management (D)
  • GCSEs C grade or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths (E)
  • Educated to ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent experience (D)
  • Membership of a relevant professional (D)
  • Understand of the importance of Health and Safety (E)
  • Understand of the importance of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity (E)
