A local government authority in Ontario is seeking an Energy and Facilities Student. This position involves providing technical support for facility management and assisting with HVAC maintenance and installation among other tasks. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a related post-secondary program and possess strong interpersonal skills. Compensation is set at $18.48 per hour, with a contract lasting approximately 4 months starting April 29, 2026. This role requires a valid Ontario Class G license and a submitted criminal record check.
The incumbent will perform technical support duties relating to facility management activities for Norfolk County facilities. Related tasks include, but are not limited to:
Employment is conditional upon: attendance at all training sessions, submission of required documentation/certification, adherence to the minimum age requirements and ability to meet the employment term.
At time of application must be enrolled in a post-secondary education institution or institution of higher learning.
Applicants must submit a criminal record check (dated within the last 3 months) from their local police service for approval prior to commencing employment.
Interviews will be held in the month of February 2026.
