Job summary

Kids & Company is seeking motivated childcare educators in Canada to support young children’s growth and development. You will implement emergent curricula and collaborate with specialists to foster holistic development.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to manage daily routines, documentation, and classroom operations. A positive attitude and initiative are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid BC ECE license.
• Current Criminal Record Check.
• First Aid & CPR certification and immunizations up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Complete attendance records and health & safety checks.
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists and Early Interventionists as needed.
• Support children through daily routines and classroom transitions.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with children, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency with computer systems for documentation and classroom operations.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
