Job summary

Kids- is seeking an On-Call Supply Early Childhood Educator to support growth and development of young children. You will maintain documentation, implement emergent curriculum, and collaborate with specialists to support holistic development.

Qualifications

• Valid BC ECE license is required.
• Criminal Record Check is required.
• First Aid & CPR certification is required.
• Immunizations up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Complete attendance records and health & safety checks.
• Collaborate with professionals such as Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists as needed.
• Support children through daily routines and classroom transitions.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient with computer systems for documentation and classroom operations.
• Be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
