Job summary

Kids & Company in Ottawa, ON is seeking on-call RECEs to join our Albert location. You will support classroom routines, maintain safe and engaging environments, and collaborate with the team to meet each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of ECE in good standing.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check.
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
• Up-to-date immunization records and two-step TB test.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being.
• Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
• Support children through classroom transitions.
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
• Participate in team meetings and workshops.
