This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the health of the player account ecosystem and preventing fraud.
The Director of account digital trust and security leads the team that drives Ubisoft’s digital trust and security strategy for player accounts. This role is critical to ensuring a secure, trustful and seamless player experience while mitigating reputational and regulatory risks for the company. The incumbent and their team are accountable for the overall health of the player account ecosystem. They define, implement and operate ongoing initiatives that ensure regulatory and privacy compliance while optimizing player access to their accounts and the ability to combat account fraud (theft, takeover, economic fraud, etc.). They monitor the account ecosystem to anticipate crises and champion accessibility, quality of service, and enforcement of account-related policies while leading the player account security awareness programs. By leading cross-functional collaboration with teams and industry stakeholders, the Director ensures consistency, fairness, and impact across Ubisoft systems, rules, and operations, enabling faster decision-making and a proactive approach to prevent crises and protect players and Ubisoft.
