We are seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving problems, proficient in Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, and OpenShift, and have 12-16 years of experience in DevOps and continuous software delivery.

As a Senior DevOps Architect, you will design, implement, and maintain our continuous integration and delivery pipeline. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth software releases, with hands-on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure management, and site reliability engineering. This role focuses on modernizing and optimizing technology platforms, infrastructure, and controls, and on developing engineering solutions to increase system reliability, availability, and reduce technical debt.

You will work on fast-paced, high-visibility projects and engage with multiple engineering leads. You are a self-starter who contributes ideas and delivers faster releases while reducing MTTR without compromising security and quality. You will contribute to foundational changes that improve performance, reliability, and robustness of systems used by many.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and reliable continuous integration and delivery pipeline
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the release process
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to deploy and test software releases
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure health and availability of applications
• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Strong customer presence, with the ability to engage and influence architecture governance

Qualifications

• 12-16 years of relevant experience in DevOps
• Extensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects on a 24x7 operation team
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Relevant certifications can be an added advantage

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
