This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - We are open to candidates being located either in our Montreal or Toronto office.

Global Technology Services (GTS) is one of the foundational divisions of the TMX Group, that empowers internal TMX business lines for their technology needs, operations, and digital innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a DevOps Analyst.

The main focus of this role will be on supporting agile teams\' ability to deliver reliable and secure technology. You will proactively prevent production issues and respond promptly in resolving any problems that arise. The role will also involve analyzing issues in depth by utilizing appropriate tools or log files, providing hands-on troubleshooting for application or infrastructure issues first.

We are looking for candidates who possess strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Ensure efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Cloud Management: Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; provision and manage cloud infrastructure resources (e.g., EC2, EKS, RDS) on AWS; automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes/ECS; build, manage, and deploy containerized applications with ArgoCD; implement container scaling and monitoring strategies.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack); analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues; implement alerting and notification systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development and operations teams; facilitate knowledge sharing and promote DevOps culture.
