Brandt Developments Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Developments Dispatcher for its Regina, SK location. This role is responsible for dispatching building operations staff as well as third party vendors to conduct quality repairs, maintenance and provide new equipment installations. This role is also responsible for customer follow-up by responding to service requests in a timely and efficient manner. It is also the responsibility of this role to ensure work is completed within the designated timeframes, and that accurate billing is established prior to payment.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Coordinate, order, schedule, and receive work of building maintenance vendors and personnel. Assist with processing accounts payable and receivable and contacting vendors as needed
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry. Ensure quality controls are always maintained at Brandt’s standards.
  • Develop a strong focus on problem-solving and project management skills, maintain confidentiality and utilize active listening skills to assess urgency of situations as they arise and respond professionally and accordingly.
  • Identify deficiencies related to Brandt standards and, work to resolve them in collaboration with corporate branding, colleagues, tenants, and management.
  • Manage general requests for information; understand property history and develop expertise of databases and physical records.
  • Oversee and manage workflow, database software to dispatch and report on facility maintenance services to properties across Canada.
  • Ensure all decision making follows standard operating procedures and business processes.
  • Understand and advocate for a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For
  • Preference given to those who are bilingual in English and French.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Certification or experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of high school diploma is required; preference is given to those who have successfully completed a post-secondary administrative or office education program.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a field related to real estate, property management/maintenance, or dispatching
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and interpretive skills. Relationship building is key to success in this role.
  • Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to cope with changing client needs and deliver successful results within time frame, in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to compose service notifications and other correspondence using strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to set clear objectives and deliverables.
  • Working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to achieve high output while working toward deadlines and under pressure.
