Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Edmonton is seeking a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from online orders to customers’ doors, using a fully equipped van and a strong focus on service.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve service issues, maintain the vehicle and ensure safety, cleanliness, and timely deliveries in all weather, day and night.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and handle physical tasks.
• Valid AB Class 5 license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a van and provide customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve issues.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Operate vehicle safely following traffic rules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver for our Save-On-Foods locations in the North Edmonton, AB region.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from AB.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both day and night.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
