Job summary

IMT Group in Port Colborne, Ontario, seeks a Customer Success & Commercial Coordinator to support the commercial team and bridge customers with internal departments. You will ensure timely communication, coordinate RFQs, and support quotation processes while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role involves collaboration with Sales, Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Operations to meet customer requirements and drive growth. Must be Canada-based and eligible to work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in customer service, inside sales, or commercial coordination in manufacturing.
• Experience in forging, machining, metalworking, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Diploma in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering Technology is a plus.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and SmartSheet/Sugar AI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for orders, deliveries, quality concerns, and commercial matters.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Coordinate RFQs and inquiries via email, portals, and sales reps.
• Review RFQs to ensure required information is available for quotation.
• Support quotation administration, logs, and opportunity records.
• Coordinate follow-up activities and ongoing customer communication.
• Track delivery performance, order status, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate quality concerns and corrective actions with internal teams.
• Maintain CRM, SmartSheet/Sugar AI records and commercial tools.
• Assist with sales reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Coordinate communication between customers and Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Operations.
• Attend meetings to update on priorities, quotations, and opportunities.
• Assist onboarding of new customer programs and documentation.
• Manage customer agreements, documentation, and records.
• Oversee customer portal activity and document uploads.
• Evaluate opportunities for alignment with manufacturing capabilities.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities across divisions.
