Job summary

Motion Industries in Canada is seeking a Service Coordinator to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. The role involves order entry, data collection for quotes, and collaboration with service technicians to optimize scheduling and shipping.

You will negotiate pricing within set parameters, build lasting customer relationships, and support continuous process improvements. A strong emphasis on communication, multitasking, and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Engineering technologist diploma or EIT would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Place customer orders via various channels and enter into system.
• Collect data from Service Technician to quote customer.
• Negotiate price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
• Expedite backorders and prepare orders for shipment.
• Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Schedule Service Technician time and determine cost-effective shipping methods.
• Handle customer returns and respond to inquiries with quotes.
