Job summary

Michaels in Kitchener, Ontario is hiring a Store Team Member to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in stocking, truck unloading, planograms, and store recovery, while supporting BOPIS and Ship From Store processes. This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork and reliability in a busy, climate-controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding products and answering questions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in the Rewards program and enrollments.
• Participate in stocking, truck unload, and planogram (POG) maintenance.
• Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Follow SOPs and safety policies; maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
