Job summary

Michaels in Kamloops is hiring for a store TEAM MEMBER to help customers find products, handle transactions, and maintain a well‑stocked, inviting store. You will engage shoppers with rewards programs and support omni‑channel services.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, restocking displays, and ensuring safety and policy compliance while providing a friendly customer experience throughout shifts that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with processing transactions and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in‑stock store standards.
• Support store safety and shrink programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
