Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Sherbrooke, QC is seeking a store teammate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a quick, smooth checkout experience.

You’ll unload trucks, stock merchandise, maintain planograms, and support the store’s recovery and in-stock standards. You will also engage customers with the Rewards program, enroll them in Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with omnichannel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Preferred Type of experience the job requires Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
