Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis (Customer Experience Rep) to be the face of our brand at Value Buds Sierra Springs. You will deliver exceptional service, help customers navigate cannabis products, and contribute to a positive shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience and cannabis education capability, with readiness to work on the shop floor, perform POS duties, and maintain compliance with regulations. Training is provided.

• Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset.

• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.

Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis (Customer Experience Rep)

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Customer Experience Representative to join our team. As a Customer Experience Representative, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who love building relationships, eager to learn and make a positive impact in a growing industry.

What You’ll Do

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification

About You

• Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
