Job summary

Farm Boy seeks a Department Manager to lead daily operations, coach a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional customer service in-store. You will manage staff scheduling, inventory, and training while maintaining service standards and food safety across hot and cold bars and grill stations.

You will collaborate with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies, drive goals, and foster a positive, engaging team culture. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program with an emphasis in Culinary Management completed.
• Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of exceptional food and service experiences.
• Coach and develop team, train staff, and recognize performance.
• Hold regular huddles to share goals, celebrate successes, and give feedback.
• Prepare and cook fresh offerings for hot and cold bars and grills.
• Oversee daily department operations: service, merchandising, staffing, cleanliness.
• Manage inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll functions.
• Ensure policy compliance and HACCP, health, and safety standards.
