Job summary

Bartle & Gibson Co. in Edmonton seeks a customer-focused team member to support counter and phone inquiries, process orders, and source materials when needed.

The role emphasizes relationship building, meticulous organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. You may work six days weekly with a half-day on Friday and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are assets.
• Knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional customer service at counter and over the phone.
• Respond to inquiries and process incoming calls and orders.
• Process orders in the system.
• Source materials for customers when not in stock.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle returns as required.
• Keep counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandise and showcase product.
• Other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset

*This position is required to work 6 days of the week, with a half day on Friday and Saturdays.
