We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Costing Engineer.

This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers, processes, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Costing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in evaluating, calculating, and optimizing the cost structure of manufactured products. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and finance to deliver accurate cost models that support pricing, quoting, and strategic business decisions.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Developing detailed product cost estimates for new and existing parts based on raw materials, labour, overhead, and process requirements
• Supporting RFQ (Request for Quote) responses by analyzing drawings, BOMs, routings, and technical specifications
• Identifying cost reduction opportunities through process optimization, alternative materials, and supplier collaboration
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to validate manufacturing processes and ensure cost accuracy
• Maintaining and updating standard cost data in ERP systems
• Preparing reports and presentations on cost breakdowns and profitability analysis for internal stakeholders
• Participating in make-vs-buy analysis and capital investment evaluations
• Monitoring market trends in material and labor costs to inform future planning

Mandatory Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a cost estimating, costing, or manufacturing engineering role
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly, etc.)
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and interpreting BOMs
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field

Salary

Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000
