About Our Client

Our client is looking for a Corporate Controller on a contractual basis.

About the Opportunity
  • Oversee the preparation of a combined monthly financial reporting package for several related entities, ensuring clear commentary, meaningful variance explanations, and timely delivery
  • Prepare the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS, maintaining high standards of accuracy, completeness, and disclosure quality
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and day‑to‑day support to the accounting team, helping prioritize workflows and elevate overall performance
  • Direct all routine financial operations, including general ledger management, payroll administration, accounts payable/receivable, and all required government filings and remittances
  • Serve as the primary contact for the annual financial audit, coordinating information requests, scheduling, and communication with external auditors
  • Partner with operations, commercial, and marketing teams to review monthly results, support business performance analysis, and evaluate credit considerations for prospective customers
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with all payroll‑related tax requirements
  • Manage indirect tax submissions, WCB matters, and assist with corporate income tax issues as needed
  • Support leadership with additional strategic projects, analyses, and ad hoc initiatives as they arise
About You
  • A recognized accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
  • Deep technical knowledge in the preparation of IFRS public company financial reporting
  • Demonstrated strength in Leadership and Team Management
  • Strong proficiency with financial systems and advanced capability in Microsoft Excel
  • Brings a professional, responsive, and positive approach to all interactions
