Job summary

ClaimsPro LP – Shared Services seeks a Technical Support Analyst on a contract basis to help end users migrate to a new domain and to maintain software/hardware. Strong English communication and documentation skills are required, with a collaborative approach across IT teams.

Position can be based in Edmonton, Alberta or Markham, Ontario. Evening/weekend work may be required; the role emphasizes incident ownership, equipment configuration, and adherence to security policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education, with preference for IT diploma/degree.
• 0–2 years of related industry experience.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 11.
• Active Directory user and group administration.
• Experience with email administration (Exchange, O365) is an asset.
• Experience with VPN software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process support requests; maintain accountability and ownership until resolved.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and servers in Windows environment.
• Install, configure and maintain peripherals and network hardware.
• Document configurations and operating standards and practices.
• Implement and monitor security policies.
• Perform data backup and recovery.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.
• Configure and troubleshoot corporate email (Exchange).
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
• Participate in projects and communicate progress to IT stakeholders.
