Job summary

CoreFactor is looking for a Desk Side Support Analyst on a contract basis. This position is onsite and requires travel between office locations in Mississauga and Brampton. The Analyst will be responsible for processing incidents and requests, coordinating warranty repairs, assisting with hardware returns, and providing careful equipment handling. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, intermediate troubleshooting abilities, and familiarity with PC internals and Microsoft Active Directory.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills: multitasking, managing incidents and requests.
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating updates and coordinating shipments.
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills for common PC fundamentals.
• Familiar with PC internals, able to replace minor components.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and SCCM/Endpoint Manager.

Overview

CoreFactor is searching for a Desk Side Support Analyst on a contract basis for a client in the west end of the GTA.

The position is onsite and requires travel between office locations in Mississauga and Brampton.

Responsibilities

• Process minor incidents and hardware requests (software, peripheral, etc.)
• Coordinate warranty repairs for malfunctioning PC hardware and manage replacements/re‑imaging of broken or malfunctioning PCs.
• Assist with hardware returns by processing the PC return tracker and following up.
• Handle shipping and receiving of IS Client assets: mailroom runs, update tracking systems, and pack PCs/peripherals.
• Provide "white glove" service—considerate handling of equipment.
• Perform lightweight physical handling, including moving boxes and lifting when necessary.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills: multitasking; managing incidents, requests, asset updates, ticket logs.
• Strong interpersonal skills: communicating updates, coordinating shipments, and collaborating with vendors and team members.
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills covering common PC fundamentals and the ability to elevate issues to senior staff.
• Familiar and comfortable with PC internals (desktop and laptop); replacing minor components such as HD, RAM, batteries, and laptop screens.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and SCCM/Endpoint Manager (or similar): enabling and moving objects, deploying software, and imaging PCs.
