Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is seeking a Construction & Forestry Territory Manager to cover a defined area of the Halifax Regional Municipality. The TM will focus on building customer relationships, increasing sales and rental revenue of new and used wholegoods, and identifying new business opportunities within the AOR.

Travel and strong product knowledge are required. The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a growing company that values initiative

Qualifications

• Sales industry experience or knowledge of heavy equipment is asset.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
• Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
• Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
• Must be available to travel; driver's license and valid passport are required.
• Bilingual English & French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• New account creation and development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Achieve sales targets as set out by the Company.
• Develop a comprehensive sales pipeline of immediate and future opportunities.
• Promote and sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
• Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
• Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and quotations.
• Submit lost sales reports weekly to the manager.
