AgeCare in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide resident care per care plans and support safety and comfort. You will monitor care, document observations, participate in in-service education, and help onboard new staff.

Compliance with IPAC policies and gentleness in daily bedside care are essential. Applicants must complete a PSW certificate/diploma and meet Ontario vocational standards; knowledge of sanitation and geriatric needs is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPAC policies and procedures.
• Basics of sanitation and cleaning techniques.
• Bedside care knowledge for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure alignment with care plans and report findings.
• Document resident care information as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
