Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning techniques; understands geriatric resident needs.
• Must follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care to ensure it aligns with the plan of care.
• Assists in documentation pertaining to resident care.
• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assists in onboarding of new staff.
• Must follow IPAC policies and procedures.
