AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide resident care according to care plans and support a safe, home-like environment. You will monitor and document care while following IPAC policies and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet vocational standards by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet standards by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet standards by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of simple treatments and bedside care for residents.
• Understanding sanitation and care needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care per the care plan and reports findings.
• Assists in documenting resident information as directed.
• Attends in-service sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assists in onboarding new staff.
• Must follow IPAC policies and procedures.
