Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Ontario to provide compassionate care per individual care plans. You will monitor resident care, document observations, and support the care team in daily operations within a community setting.

As a valued member of our team, you will participate in trainings, help onboard new staff, and adhere to IPAC policies to ensure resident safety and well-being. This role supports aging with dignity in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or diploma completed.
• Meets vocational standards set by the relevant bodies.
• Meets standards by NACCA and OCSA.
• Knowledge of simple treatments and bedside care basics; understands sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care as per plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Document information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
