Work setting: Community or retail pharmacy.

Employment terms: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Salary: $65.00 to $75.00 hourly (to be negotiated).

Hours per week: 30 to 40.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on the selection and use of non‑prescription medication.
• Check prescriptions for proper dosage.
• Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients.
• Maintain medication profiles of customers, including registries of poisons, narcotics and controlled drugs.
• Manage the storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
