Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Commercial Insurance Associate in Canada to support Producers and Marketers on commercial accounts. You’ll help manage client queries, renewals, certificates of insurance, proposals, and endorsements while maintaining high service standards.

You will engage with clients, insurers, and internal teams to ensure accurate policy documentation, timely responses, and effective coverage decisions. A cooperative, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 Insurance License or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year commercial insurance experience as Insurance Advisor
• Strong customer service focus with ability to deliver positive client experiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication; credible at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Assist producer and marketer with servicing commercial accounts
• Meet existing clients’ needs and process documents (Certificates of Insurance, Cover Notes, Renewals, Proposals)
• Review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before sending to clients
• Contact clients for renewal information and answer coverage questions
• Take client calls and process online quotes; negotiate with insurers on coverage and price
• Update client information as changes occur and respond to inquiries
• Provide policy and coverage information to clients on request
• Support floater position with regular duties
