Job summary

HUB International seeks a Commercial Account Executive to promote our full insurance product suite across Canada. You will serve clients, present solutions, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing while working within HUB's support ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Level 2 General Insurance License required.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales results.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Strong commitment to personal growth and development.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist clients with questions on coverage.
• Coordinate with company personnel on client needs and problems.
• Negotiate with underwriters on rates and coverage.
• Follow up on changes, renewals with insurers.
• Review and discuss claims with clients.
• Explain coverage clearly to clients.
• Assist with new business and renewal presentations.
• Close deals with up-selling and cross-selling.
• Prospect for new business (typical premiums $20,000–$100,000).
• Prepare marketing submissions and insurance proposals.
