Job summary

HUB International Edmonton is seeking a Commercial Insurance Associate to support the Account Executive in renewal work, quoting, and policy changes throughout the year. The role requires 1–2 years of commercial insurance experience, a license level 1, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Broker Management Software.

You will collaborate with clients and colleagues, manage deadlines, and contribute to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum license level 1 required; CAIB 1 and 2 strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial insurance experience is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Broker Management Software systems.
• Ability to multi-task and interact in a professional manner with clients and colleagues.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal daily direction.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor in assembling renewal information or for making changes to policies.
• Track expiry lists for the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor.
• Prepare information for submission to Marketers to obtain new quotes, and assemble information for presentations.
• Attend meetings with Account Executives on new or renewal business as required.
• Follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely invoicing and payment of premiums.
