Job summary

HUB International in Kamloops, BC, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to support producers and marketers on commercial accounts. You will service clients, process documents, and manage policy details, renewals, endorsements, and communications with insurers.

A strong client service mindset and attention to detail are essential. Requirements include a Level 2 Insurance License and 1 year of commercial insurance experience; industry designations are assets.

Qualifications

Level 2 Insurance License is required.
1 year of commercial insurance experience is an asset.
1 year of general insurance industry experience is an asset.
Industry designation (CIP/CAIB/CRM or similar) is an asset.

Responsibilities

Assist producer and marketer with servicing commercial accounts.
Meet clients’ needs and process documents (COIs, cover notes, renewals, proposals, endorsements, invoices).
Review insurer documents for accuracy before forwarding to clients.
Contact clients for renewal information and respond to inquiries about coverages.
Take client calls, answer questions, and process online quotes.
Negotiate with insurers on coverage and price with the producer.
Update client information as changes occur and assist with account questions.
Support floater position with minimal duties.
