A local health service organization in Hall Lake is seeking a self-motivated COHI Aide to provide oral health services for children aged 0-7. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, coordinating appointments, and delivering fluoride treatments while engaging with the community. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
We are looking for a self-motivated COHI (Children’s Oral Health Initiative) Aide with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The COHI Aide will work the Health Promotion Team to provide prevention oral health services to the LLRIB Health Services for the community of Hall Lake. LLRIBHS promotes Dental Health services and Dental Health education to all community members of LLRIB. We work closely with the schools and other health organizations. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we both address acute needs and the determinants of health.
Working within the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Schools you will provide fluoride treatments for 0–7-year-old children, instruction on oral hygiene, (brush & floss), deliver oral health information sessions and respond to questions, promote good oral health habits and maintain records of activities during COHI Sessions.
