Job summary

RBC in Canada is seeking a Banking Advisor to help clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an RBC ambassador, you’ll deliver trusted advice, demonstrate digital banking, onboard new clients, and refer complex opportunities to specialists to drive satisfaction and loyalty.

You’ll engage with clients in-branch and the community, educate on banking solutions, resolve problems, and collaborate with partners to maximize referrals and support client goals.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course) required.
• Passion for putting clients first with target-driven sales experience.
• Strong problem-solving and people skills to build relationships and connect with clients.
• Flexible, eager to learn, ethical, and driven to succeed.
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
• Availability to work all open business hours.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in-branch and in the community to uncover banking needs and referrals.
• Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology for memorable experiences and sales.
• Respond to client-initiated transactions across the full financial range.
• Actively listen to understand individual client needs.
• Proactively resolve and prevent client banking problems.
• Cultivate relationships with partners to maximize referrals.
