Job summary

RBC is seeking a client-focused banking professional to support everyday banking, credit, and investment needs across RBC locations. You will help clients with digital banking usage, onboarding new clients, and referring complex opportunities to specialists, delivering meaningful experiences that drive satisfaction and loyalty.

The role emphasizes proactive client engagement, education, and collaboration with partners to seize business opportunities while maintaining high service standards

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
• Demonstrated passion for putting clients first in a target-driven sales environment.
• Strong problem-solving and people skills with ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and a hunger for success.
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve clients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community, uncovering banking needs and sales/referral opportunities.
• Educate clients using technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business.
• Assist with a wide range of financial transactions in response to client requests.
• Listen actively to understand individual client needs and tailor solutions.
• Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.
• Cultivate relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities.
