Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking an overnight Heavy Duty Cleaner in Hamilton, Canada, to maintain the facility’s cleanliness to a high standard. The overnight shift runs from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM with Sunday–Wednesday off and Thursday–Saturday workdays.

You’ll tackle floors, washrooms, and common areas, while replenishing supplies and ensuring a spotless environment. The role emphasizes independence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with training provided and opportunities for career growth within a

Qualifications

• Must have a great attitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Floor care experience is an asset.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Good communication with supervisor, client and public.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the floors, washrooms and garbage bins of the facility.
• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and entrance areas.
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap).
• Dusting all visible surfaces within reach including phone booths, countertops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents.
• Spot cleaning all lobby floors and wash thoroughly as required.
• Vacuuming all entrance mats in lobbies.

As a heavy duty overnight Cleaner, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level. The overnight shift is 10:00PM – 6:00AM. Sunday-Wednesday off Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Your Work Will Include

• Maintaining the floors, washrooms and garbage bins of the facility


• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and entrance areas
