Job summary

Dexterra Group in Ontario is seeking a heavy duty evening Cleaner to maintain and sanitize all floor surfaces and related areas. Responsibilities include cleaning with buffers, restrooms, windows, and removing garbage from drop points to bins. Shift is 3:00 P.M.

to 11:00 P.M., Monday to Friday, with training provided. Ideal candidates have floor care experience, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, clear communication with supervisors and clients, and the ability to work independently or as part of

Qualifications

• Experience with floor scrubbing and buffing preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Criminal background check required.
• Able to work evenings shifts.
• Good communication with supervisor and clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all hard floor surfaces and areas accessible by ladder/scaffolding.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms and common areas.
• Remove and dispose of garbage from drop points to bin/compactor.
• Dust and clean surfaces including chrome and metal fixtures.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues to supervisor.

As a heavy duty evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder or scaffolding, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop point to a garbage bin or compactor. 3:00 P.M. TO 11:00 P.M. MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Your Work Will Include

• Maintaining the floors; the washing/scrubbing of floors is done with hand held or walk behind buffing machines. In open area applications automatic equipment may be used to perform these function
• Cleaning and sanitizing that includes washrooms, common and entrance areas
• Replenishing any used or missing supplies (toilet rolls, hand towels, hand soap)
• Dusting all visible surfaces within reach which includes phone booths, counter tops, pillars, lighting fixtures, window ledges and vents
• Cleaning and polishing chrome and other polished metal surfaces
