As a Child and Youth Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children and youth with complex needs. You'll work directly with clients and families to implement therapeutic plans, provide individual and group support, and advocate on their behalf through collaboration with caregivers and community partners.
You’ll lead and participate in recreational and therapeutic activities, support family-based treatment in various settings (home, community, or centre), and contribute to program development and evaluation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you'll maintain accurate documentation and share key updates with the team.
This role also requires a strong commitment to client safety and quality care, with a focus on ROCK’s core values of respect, collaboration, and client-centered service planning.
As part of our Live‑In Treatment team, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and home‑like environment where children and youth can thrive. You’ll take responsibility for the general upkeep of the residence, using daily routines and chores as opportunities to engage clients and teach valuable life skills—while ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
You’ll be entrusted with the security and management of medication, food/program funds, and agency property. Flexibility is essential, as this role involves working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, to ensure consistent, 24/7 care and support for our clients.
This position is an existing vacancy. This position casual, hourly position with scheduling based on program and operational needs.
