Edmonton Airports is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. The CFO will play a central role in capital raising, project financing, and financial leadership, ensuring the airport’s long-term financial sustainability and operational excellence. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the CFO’s mandate includes enhancing operational and financial performance, supporting ongoing expansion to meet the needs of a fast-growing region, growing and mentoring a first-class finance team, and serving as a true strategic business partner to the CEO and Leadership team.
The ideal candidate will be a proven executive with extensive experience in a complex, capital-intensive environment such as aviation, transportation or infrastructure. The CFO will have a track record in capital raising and managing large-scale capital projects. They will bring an entrepreneurial mindset and play a pivotal role in international investment attraction across sectors including aerospace and defence, global logistics, commercial / industrial real estate, hospitality and entertainment, technology, and innovation. The successful candidate will be a positive, collaborative, and engaging leader capable of building a world-class finance team and forging strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
