A leading Canadian university is seeking a Centre Administrator to oversee administrative responsibilities for the Environmental Sustainability Research Centre. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree, project management experience, and strong communication skills. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a salary between $61,286 and $71,500, along with health benefits and a flexible work environment.

Please note: this is a 12-month fixed term contract, and interviews will take place in January 2026.
Reporting to the Director, Environmental Sustainability Research Centre (ESRC) and the Chair, Department of Geography and Tourism Studies (DGTS), the Centre Administrator spends the majority of their time leading and supervising all administrative responsibilities for the ESRC aligned with Brock's strategic outlook. This includes the administration of the ESRC and its academic programs, budgetary management of operating and project accounts, coordinating and expanding community partnerships, contributing to program recruitment, admissions, procedure and policy implementation, experiential education, and other activities that support student success, and continuously seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness of Centre communications to all audiences. A small proportion of their time will provide administrative support towards the preparation of a program proposal brief for an interdisciplinary undergraduate program and the development of an academic restructure proposal, including the governance structure for a new School focused on the environment and sustainability.
*The final salary is based on experience, internal equity, and budget considerations within the target hiring range.
