Qualifications, Experience & Ability

French Immersion Teacher

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • French Second Language Methodology
  • Superior French Proficiency (verified by OPI)
  • Teaching methods courses at corresponding levels or qualified as per Teacher Qualifications Chart
• Minimum Experience
• Minimum Ability Predominantly assessed through interview; external applicants must meet a 70% threshold.

Science Teacher

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Secondary endorsement or 3+ years teaching in applicable grade level
  • Major, minor, or Master's in science or qualified as per Teacher Qualifications Chart
• Minimum Experience
• Minimum Ability Assessed through interview; external applicants must meet a 70% threshold.
