Job summary

On Side Restoration Services Ltd. in Ottawa is seeking a Carpenter – (Multi-Skilled Tradesperson) to repair and restore damaged property. You will perform interior carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing, with a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of interior repairs/restoration experience.
• 2+ years of interior finish work.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim.
• Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware.
• Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts.
• Drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping and finishing; brush/roller painting for walls, ceilings and trim.
• Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing.
• Insulation and vapor barrier installation.
• Cabinetry removal, repair and reinstallation.

Position Summary

Carpenters at On Side rebuild and restore damaged personal property anywhere and anytime a disaster strikes. With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state Carpenters (Multi-Skilled Tradespeople) use the skills of carpenters, drywallers and painters! • Salary Range: $28-$32/hour
