Job summary

ACIL AgeCare Investments Ltd is seeking a part-time Scheduler to join AgeCare Dawson location. The role focuses on booking shifts, managing attendance in Kronos, and ensuring staffing meets care needs.

You will prepare daily assignment sheets, support Unit Clerk duties, and provide administrative support to the leadership team while maintaining inventory of nursing supplies and fostering efficient operations in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a scheduler or similar role is preferred.
• A certificate or diploma in Office Administration or related field.
• Preference will be given to those with experience working with Kronos.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warming, caring and approachable demeanor.
• Strong MS Office Software’s skills required, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff for the care departments and ensure all shifts are filled to meet business needs
• Prepare daily assignment sheets for departments
• Record attendance and collect appropriate documentation from staff to support requests for shift exchanges, vacation, sick-leave or other leaves, etc
• Responsible for managing sick time, time & attendance records in Kronos
• Assist with Unit Clerk duties for relief coverage
• Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies for the nursing department
• Provide administrative support to the leadership team as time allows
