Qualifications

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Receive paid training to qualify as a Tour Guide and Licensed Boat Captain!
  • Supervisor Lake Minnewanka Boat Captain team
  • Be prepared for a fast‑paced work environment with changing conditions
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
  • Deliver high‑standard interpretive commentary on board each tour
  • Safely operate tour boats, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations Master Limited 60 Tonne (all training provided and paid for)
  • Maintain trip and mechanical logs, report boat performance issues
  • Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe

NOTE: Transport Canada regulations state that in Canada only Canadian or Permanent residents of Canada can work on Canadian vessels. TC form #82-0701
