Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead daily cannabis retail operations in Canmore. You will coach the sales team, ensure excellent customer experiences, and uphold regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

With 2+ years in retail or customer service and a cannabis certification, you will manage shifts, assist with product launches, and support inventory while maintaining health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must hold certification to sell cannabis (Selling It Right,SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP,CanSell).
• Must be at least 18 or 19 years old (based on provincial requirements).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product education.
• Support and guide team members during assigned shifts.
• Act as a point of contact in the absence of management.
• Assist with product launches, promotions, and merchandising.
• Support inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, ID verification, and OH&S standards.
• Help maintain store cleanliness, organization, and operational standards.
