Job summary

Value Buds in Burlington, ON is hiring a part-time Customer Experience Representative to join our cannabis-focused retail team. You’ll greet customers, provide product recommendations, and assist with POS transactions while maintaining compliance with regulations.

We value strong communication, reliability, and a customer-first approach. Experience in retail or hospitality is an asset, and cannabis certifications are preferred. Flexible scheduling and team support provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
