Job summary

Value Buds Bramalea City Centre is hiring a motivated Keyholder / Shift Lead for our cannabis retail team. You’ll lead by example, greet customers, and support teammates in a fast-paced environment.

As a Keyholder, you’ll manage daily operations, assist customers with product knowledge, operate the POS, receive deliveries, and ensure compliance with cannabis regulations including ID checks. Cannabis certification and retail experience are required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification required (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification
