Value Buds is seeking a Retail Sales Associate – Cannabis (Customer Experience Rep) to be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional service and guiding customers through our cannabis products in-store.

You will help with product recommendations, education, POS transactions, inventory tasks, and regulatory compliance. This role values reliability, communication, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-growing industry.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification
